High-tech Manufacturing Process

The process begins with the most difficult part when the customer selects their material. Surface Encounters friendly staff, including a registered interior designer, is available to assist the customer so they are 100% satisfied with their new natural stone countertop.

Surface Encounters Laser measurement ensures perfection while eliminating human error and the need to remove the existing countertop until the new countertop is ready to install.

Surface Encounters Artistic vein matching and seam placement maintains the integrity of the design to produce continuous surface of beauty.

Automatic diamond saw cutting is computer controlled to ensure accuracy not previously possible. This automated process eliminates operator error and ensures design integrity.

Precision diamond waterjet cutting - using high-pressure abrasive waterjet cutting allows for improved slab utilization for seam placement and artistic vein matching. Eliminating blade overruns allows access to the entire slab.

Perfect shapes using the latest high-speed diamond cutting tools ensure accuracy and eliminate blowouts by avoiding unnecessary force on the stone.

CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) technology ensures accuracy for perfect sink and cook-top cut-outs and eliminates alignment issues for a perfect overall job.

Diamond milling tools allow for the creation of beautiful edges, radiuses, and arcs with precision unattainable to most stone fabricating companies.

High luster finishes are attained using the most advanced diamond polishing tools. Consistent contact with diamonds to stone create higher luster to edge details and shapes which adds to the luxurious look of natural stone.
